100 days between MoU signing and inauguration: Jharkhand CM

Within 100 days of signing the memoranda of understanding, three projects were inaugurated and foundation stones were for 21 more were laid today.

These projects were brought from the paper to the ground within 100 days as the MoUs were signed in mid-February during the Momentum Jharkhand summit, state Chief Minister Raghubar Das said.

"Our government does not just make promises, but also keep them," he was quoted as saying in an official release.

"This would increase credibility of the state in the country and abroad," the chief minister said at the foundation stone laying ceremony here.

Das said that foundation stones would be laid in July for projects worth Rs 1000 crore and these projects would of IT, automobile component companies and others.
 

An investment board has been set up for the investors and he himself was reviewing progress of the MoUs, the chief minister said.

People would get employment in the state and they did not need go outside in search of jobs, Das said.

The state government, he added, has sufficient land for industries and wherever industries were being set up, people were giving land for it on their own.
