Two youths were today arrested here for allegedly possessing country-made pistols, police said.
Acting on a tip-off, Matesh Jadgule (26) and Pawan Ahire (24) were apprehended this morning from PT colony, said Sitaram Kolhe, in-charge of Sarkarwada police station.
"We recovered the pistols from them and Rs 45,000 were also seized from their possession," he said.

As per the officer, during interrogation it was revealed that the youths purchased the pistols from one Sachin Gangurde.
A case under relevant sections of IPC and the Arms Act was registered, Kolhe said, adding investigations are underway.
