Two youths were injured in clashes between two groups in Kazi Katra locality here allegedly over an incident of eve teasing, police said today.
The clashes occurred last night under Dargah Sharief police station area when one of the groups objected to teasing of some girls by the other group, they said.
Later about 50-60 supporters of one of the groups gathered and indulged in brickbatting, leading to injuries to two youths identified as Gokul and Chandan, police said.
The injured have been admitted to the district hospital, police said, adding an FIR has been lodged against five named persons and 60 others and four of the named accused have been arrested.
Additional force has been deployed in the area as precautionary measure as the incident involved different communities even though the situation was under control, police added.
