2 killed, 3 injured in mishap

another got injured in a road mishap on NH-31 near Faraha village in Bihar's Nawada district this evening, police sources said.

The mishap took place as a speeding truck ran over three persons and dragged two of them for about one kilometer.

The deceased where identified as Sushila Devi (45) and Enaul Khan (40), they said adding the duo died due to multiple injuries.

The woman's husband Sudhir Rajbanshi sustained injuries and was referred to the Patna Medical College Hospital.

The truck driver escaped abandoning the vehicle.
