275 AK-47 cartridges seized from car

As many as 275 AK-47 cartridges were today seized from a car near Kaliabhomora Bridge over Brahmaputra river here, police sources said.

The car, coming from Dimapur in Nagaland, was stopped on NH-37 by the police on a tip-off, the sources said.

The driver of the car, Paritosh Biswas, was arrested.
