28-yr-old woman killed after being hit by bus in UP

A 28-year-old woman was killed and three others were seriously injured after their motorcycle was hit by a bus near Bhurahedi village here, the police said today.

The accident took place under the Purkazi Police Station area last evening. The woman succumbed to injuries at a hospital while the injured are undergoing treatment, SHO Purkazi A P Bhardwaj said.

The condition of the injured as been stated as serious, the officer said.

The bus driver managed to escape after the accident, he said.
