3 arrested for smuggling cows

Three people have been arrested from Shamli district for smuggling cows, police said today.

Police intercepted a truck near Jasala village yesterday and during checking, three cows were found in it, following which Kartik, Brijesh and Raj Kumar were arrested while another person fled the spot, SHO Anuradha Singhal said.

A case has been registered against them under relevant sections of IPC.
