3 CSK Univ scientists, 3 staff stranded in J&K floods

Dr K K Katoch, Vice-Chancellor of CSK Himachal Pradesh Agriculture University, Palampur, expressed concern over the safety of three scientists of the varsity and three other staff members who have been stranded in the floods in the Kashmir Valley.
Talking to mediapersons, Dr Katoch said that the team had gone to Kashmir to obtain saffron cultivars for plantation in Kinnaur where the University is running a project.
Apart from three scientists, a field assistant and two drivers were stranded and every effort is being made to ensure their safe return, he said.
