3 head constables suspended for dereliction of duty

Three Punjab Police head constables were today suspended for the alleged dereliction of duty.

Batala police chief Manminder Singh said that after a surprise raids in the city last night, the three head constables Sukhdev Singh, Avtar Singh and Karat Singh were found absent from the duty.

They were suspended immediately and a departmental inquiry was instituted, he said.
