Police seized 300 kg of ganja
valued at Rs 15 lakh and nabbed one person for smuggling the contraband here today.
Kohima police personnel manning Peducha check gate intercepted one truck and recovered 300 kg of ganja neatly packed in 16 packets during the day, PRO of Kohima Police, Atu Zumvu said.
One person was arrested for possession and transportation of the contraband, he said.
A case under Section 20(b)(c) NDPS Act has been registered against him at under Sechu (Zubza) Police Station, the PRO added.
