As many as 38 people were injured, 10 of them seriously, when the tractor they were traveling on while going to a temple overturned in the rural Ghatampur area here, police said.
Residents of Malhharpur village in Ghatampur were going to Muktapur Temple on a tractor when the vehicle suddenly overturned, said SP (Rural) A K Mishra.
All the 38 persons on the tractor, including women, children, were injured, he said.
The driver of the vehicle was also injured.
The SP said 10 of the injured are said to be in a serious condition and have been admitted to a hospital in the city.
The rest 28 people were given first aid at a health centre in the village and discharged, he added.
