Police today arrested four miscreants who had opened fire in air outside a lawyer residence in Pratapnagar area here and recovered one pistol and six live cartridges from them, an official spokesman said.
The accused were identified as Hansraj, Bhoor Singh, Sriman, and Sheeshram, the spokesman said.
One pistol and six live cartridges were recovered from one of them, Hansraj, after they were caught, and a car which they used was also recovered.
The main accused Hansraj was wanted in 40 other crime cases registered against him at various police stations in Jaipur and Toda Bheem of Karauli district, he said.
Hansraj with his three accomplices had gone to one lawyer B L Meena's house late last night and opened five rounds of fire in air to terrorise him, the spokesman said.
The exact reason of miscreants' tussle with the lawyer was yet to be ascertained, he said.
