A 48-year-old man was killed after his bike was hit by a speeding truck here, police said today.
The incident took place yesterday near UP Gramin Bank when victim Lakhan Lal on his bike which was hit by the truck, they said.
He was rushed to a hospital, where he died during treatment.
A case has been registered against the unidentified truck driver, who managed to flee from the spot after the mishap. Efforts are on to nab the absconding accused.
