6 new MLAs take oath

Six newly-elected MLAs, who had

recently won the bypolls, took oath at the West Bengal Assembly today.

Five of the new MLAs - Kar Ratna Ghosh from Chakdaha, Gour Chandra Mandal from Galsi, Shyamal Santra from Kotulpur, Ananta Deb Adhikary from Maynaguri and Ajoy Dey from Santipur - are all from Trinamool.

Manoj Kumar Oraon who won the Kumargram seat is from RSP.
