60 crude bombs found in Burdwan

Sixty crude bombs were found from a cottage, housing a shallow pump, at Shirundi village under Ketugram police station in Burdwan district today, the police said.

Local people discovered the bombs and informed the police.

Bomb squad personnel later arrived at the spot and diffused the bombs, Superintendent of Police Kunal Agarwal said.

Further investigation in the case has been launched, he said.
