Action plan to give fillip 'Incredible India Bed & Breakfast/

Tourism Ministry today announced an action plan to give fillip to its 'Incredible India Bed and Breakfast/Home Stay Scheme' which include a revisit of the scheme's guidelines and aligning it with the present and future requirements.

As part of the revamp of the scheme, it was also decided to ensure expansion of the scheme in state where it is already prevalent, besides introducing it where the scheme is not available at present, an official statement said.

Other features of action plan include moving towards ease of doing business through rationalization of taxes and simplification of procedures, besides launching an aggressive marketing strategy to enlist more establishments.
 

The action plan also includes involving online travel agents in promoting the scheme and constituting groups to study various aspects of this scheme and submit recommendations in a time bound manner.
