An agriculture college will be set up in Rajasthan's Sikar district as recommended by the State Farmers Commission.
The Commission, headed by Narayan Singh, recommended setting up of an agriculture college in the region comprising Sikar, Churu, Jhunjhunu and Nagaur, an official spokesman said.
The Commission made the recommendation in its second report which was submitted to Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot here today, he said.
Gehlot gave his nod for setting up the college in Sikar's Fatehpur area, the spokesman said.
