Auto component firm Amtek Auto today reported a 60.56 per cent jump in standalone net profit at Rs 86.08 crore for the third quarter ended June 30 on the account of higher sales.
It posted net profit of Rs 53.61 crore in the same quarter a year ago.
Amtek Auto's net sales in the quarter under review went up by 73.44 per cent to Rs 978.8 crore as against Rs 564.32 crore in the corresponding period in the previous year.
Shares of Amtek Auto closed at Rs 251 apiece, down 1.14 per cent from their previous close on the BSE.
