Another death due to swine flu in Delhi, 34 new cases detected

Another person died of swine flu today in the national capital and 34 new cases have been detected with the deadly H1N1 virus, taking the total number of cases this season to 834.

The person, who was admitted to Deen Dayal Upadhyaya hospital in a critical condition, succumbed to swine flu today, doctors said.

With the death, the number of people succumbing to the virus went up to 12 this season.

According to hospital sources, 34 fresh cases were reported today.

Delhi government has designated 23 hospitals in the city for treatment of the ailment.

The Health Minister has urged the people to maintain high standard of personal hygiene to prevent the spread of the disease.
