ATM lifter arrested

An ATM lifter was

arrested today when his gang was planning to steal another here.

According to police, a gang of three were trying to lift an ATM during the early hours today when police got the information and reached the spot.

One of the miscreants was arrested but two of his accomplices escaped.

The police also seized a car used by the gang.

The gang has been involved in lifting a number of ATMs in lower Assam.
