In a major reshuffle, the Haryana government today appointed senior IPS officer B S Sandhu as the Director General of Police.
The 1984 batch IPS officer replaced K P Singh, an official spokesman said.
"Sandhu was holding the post of Chairman and MD Haryana Police Housing Corporation Panchkula. K P Singh has now been posted as DG Prisons," he said.
IPS officer K Selvaraj has been posted as DGP Railways and OSD Rules, Panchkula. IPS officer Rajwant Pal Singh has been posed as Commandant General, Home Guard and Director Civil Defence, Chandigarh, the spokesman said.
P R Deo has been posted as MD Haryana Police Housing Corporation Panchkula. IPS officer Desh Raj has been posted as ADGP Sunaria Complex, he added.
