B Tech student killed in accident

A 22-year-old engineering student was killed when a car hit him while he was alighting from a bus on Noida Expressway here.

Devashish Mishra, a B Tech student of Gautam Buddha University, was returning from home after Diwali when the accident took place, police said.

Mishra died on the spot and the car driver fled after abandoning the vehicle. Police have registered a case and launched a drive to nab the erring driver.
