Bandhan Bank launches international debit card, NRI banking

Bandhan Bank, which started full-fledged banking operations five months ago, today launched international debit card and NRI banking.

The bank has tied up with Visa International for debit cards. It would offer two variants, Visa Classic and Visa Platinum.

Founder and MD & CEO of Bandhan Bank Chandrasekhar Ghosh said the bank was also starting NRI banking with a bouquet of products.

NRI banking would be offered at selected branches and people can open accounts either under premium or standard variants, he told reporters here today.

With a deposit base of Rs 7,500 crore till date, the bank has already started to offer loans for housing and commercial vehicles.
 

So far, it had developed a network of 612 branches and 203 ATMs.
