Beyonce is empowering as a woman: Cheryl Cole

'Girls Aloud' singer Cheryl Cole who recently met pop sensation Beyonce believes that she is an empowering woman.

The 29-year-old 'The Promise' hitmaker considers Beyonce as her idol, reported Daily Mirror.

"I love how Beyonce is empowering as a woman. She's positive and she's about sisterhood and that's quite rare these days I think.

"I always looked up to her, in Destiny's Child she was my favourite," Cole said.

Though Cole revealed in a television interview that her meeting with Beyonce was not ideal.

"I haven't seen her since, but that's ok that one time was enough for me. I totally embarrassed myself I'm sure she doesn't want to see me again," she added.
