One person died and two others were injured following a collision between a bike and an auto-rickshaw near Kanchikacherla village in Krishna district today, police said.
The motorcyclist, G Vinaykumar (30), a native of Nakkalampet village, died in the accident.
The victim was travelling to Kanchikacherla on his motorcycle, when the auto-rickshaw coming from the opposite direction rammed into his vehicle, Police Sub-Inspector K Eswara Rao said.
Immediately after the incident, Vinaykumar was shifted to a hospital, where he was declared brought dead.
A case has been registered in this regard and further investigation is on, the SI said.
