BJP today slammed the Mizoram government over the latter's inability to pay salaries to Hindi teachers under CSS and teachers under RMSA and SSA.
A press statement issued by the BJP state unit alleged that the Hindi teachers under CSS have not received their salaries for eight months while teachers working under the RMSA and SSA were also yet to get their salaries for months.
The statement accused the Congress government in the state of neglecting education by failing to disburse salaries to the teachers employed by it.
There are 1,305 Hindi teachers under the CSS while there are 580 and 4,000 teachers under the RMSA and SSA respectively.
The RMSA teachers were yet to receive their salaries since May this year while the SSA teachers have not received their salaries since June.
