Body found hanging from ceiling in Muzaffarnagar

The body of a 30-year-old man was found hanging from the ceiling at his residence in New Mandi area in Muzaffarnagar district, police said today.

Jagdish Pandey's body was found hanging yesterday, they said.

The police suspect it to be a case of suicide. They, however, said the reason behind Pandey's step was not yet clear.

The body has been sent for a post-mortem examination.

An investigation was underway.
