Body found in UK river could be of missing Indian-origin woman

A body, suspected to be that of an Indian-origin woman missing since October 23, was found in a river in northern England today.

The body was found in River Aire in Bradford is suspected to be that of 35-year-old Indian-origin woman Seemberjeet Kaur, police said.

According to police, Kaur, mother of a three-year-old child, disappeared from her home in East Bowling in October.

According to Telegraph & Argus, a local newspaper, there had been no positive sightings of the married mother since about 1pm that day, when she was captured on CCTV on the canal towpath near Roberts Park, Saltaire.
 

Kaur, who had been taking medication for depression, had taken a taxi to Salts Mill from her home. She failed to collect her daughter from nursery school that day.

Her husband, Baljeet, raised an alarm when the school contacted him to inform that no one came to pick up their child.
