Body of missing youth recovered in J-K

The bullet-riddled body of a 23-year-old youth, who was reported missing since Wednesday, was today recovered from Jammu and Kashmir's Kulgam district.

"Body of Shamim Ahmad Patloo was recovered from open fields in Yaripora area of Kulgam district," a police official said.

The body had several bullet wounds, he said.

Patloo was reported missing from his village in Arwani area of neighbouring Anantnag district since October 19.

A case has been registered and investigations started into the killing of the youth, the official said.
