Boeing India chief to head its F-15 programme in US

Aviation major Boeing Monday said its India unit chief, Pratyush Kumar, has been selected to head its F-15 fighter aircraft programme in the United States.

Kumar moved to India in December 2012 as Boeing India president, replacing Dinesh Keskar.

In his new role, Kumar will focus on furthering the F-15 business in the US and globally, a release said.

Boeing said it will be announcing his successor soon.

Mindshare, the largest media agency of GroupM, Monday said it has bagged new business worth Rs 1,100 crore in the last nine months in the country.

 

Mindshare won 30 plus new account including Unilever Digital business, SBI Life Insurance, Disney, Pharmeasy, Clubfactory, Intarem, IHG, Coverfox, Group SEB, Brussels Airlines, Urban Clap, Heritage Foods, Frankfinn, Mobiistar, Unibic, Hindware, Specmakers, Saloni Oil, among others, a release said.

******************* Hotstar partners with HOOQ for Hollywood TV shows & movies *

Star India's streaming platform Hotstar has partnered with southeast Asia's video-on-demand (VOD) service HOOQ to provide the latter's 6,000-hour catalogue of Hollywood TV shows and movies made available to its premium users.

This will also enable HOOQ to leverage Hotstar's over 150 million monthly active users, the companies said in a joint statement Monday.

******************* IndiGo ties up with cargo management software firm SmartKargo *

Budget carrier IndiGo Monday said it has tied up with air cargo management software firm SmartKargo to drive its end-to-end cargo and logistics business.

The firm will deploy its 100 per cent cloud-based cargo management solution SmartKargo to airline's cargo business across its network both domestic and international, IndiGo said in a release.

The Gurugram-based no-frills airline currently operates to 58 destinations, including nine international ones, with a fleet of 189 planes.
