A Bank of Maharashtra security guard was today felicitated for foiling an ATM robbery attempt in the city on October 27.
The guard Rano Singh was injured when he confronted robbers on October 27 night.
The Goa police had honoured him with a certificate.
Singh was felicitated by Bank of Maharashtra executive director R K Gupta for his bravery and presented him a 'sanman patra' and a cash prize.
"Rano Singh's courage is commendable. We wholeheartedly appreciate his effort for putting his life at stake without falling down while foiling the robbery attempt," Gupta said.
