Boy electrocuted, another injured

A 10-year-old boy was electrocuted today and another critically injured when a high tension wire fell on them at Kethora village in the district, police said.

The children came into contact with the wire while playing in the area.

The deceased was identified as Salman(10) while the injured Chahat Ali (3)was shifted to hospital in a serious condition.

In a separate incident, a 45-year-old Manraj Kumar was murdered using blunt weapons at Tulheda village in the district, they said.

The incident is stated to be a fallout of some old enmity.

The body has been sent for postmortem and a case has been registered against three persons in this connection, they said, adding the accused are still absconding.
