Boy killed as cement bench falls

In a tragic incident, a six-year old boy was killed when a cement bench fell on him, police said here Friday.

The boy was sitting and playing on the bench in their residential apartment complex when the accident occurred, the police said.

The supporting stand of the cement bench had already been broken and nobody noticed it, they said.

A case was registered following a complaint from the boy's father, they added.
