Former Congress leader and Jagmeet Singh Brar today merged his 'Punjab Lok Hit Abhiyan' with the Trinamool Congress (TMC) in run up to the 2017 Punjab Assembly elections.
"The decision to merge Punjab Lok Hit Abhiyan with the TMC was taken in a meeting of district coordinators and core committee members here," said Brar, who was recently appointed the TMC's state chief.
Brar claimed he had been approached by many dissidents of the Congress and Akalis.
