The police today seized cannabis plants worth Rs 10 lakh from the garden of a house located in Candolim beach village and arrested two persons, an official said.
The raid was conducted on a specific input during which plants weighed 10 kgs were seized.
"The seized plants valued at approximately Rs 10 lakh were seized during the raid," Calangute Police Inspector Jivba Dalvi said.

Police arrested Susanta Sahoo (26) and Pravash Salam (20) for allegedly growing the plants.
Candolim coast is notorious for narcotics trade.
Dalvi said some hookahs were also found in a room used by the accused duo.
He said the plants were nurtured by the owner of the property, identified as Lanny Filho.
Filho has been booked under Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, the official said.
