Chief of Naval Staff visits ENC for operational review

The Chief of the Naval Staff, Admiral Sunil Lanba, arrived here today on a three-day visit to the Eastern Naval Command.

Admiral Lanba was received by Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief Eastern Naval Command (ENC) Vice Admiral Karambir Singh at INS Dega, according to a navy release here.

The Chief of Naval Staff reviewed operational readiness at a review meeting attended by Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief Western Naval Command, Vice Admiral Girish Luthra, Commander-in-Chief Andaman & Nicobar Command, Vice Admiral Bimal Kumar Verma,

FOC-in-C, ENC, Vice Admiral Karambir Singh, Deputy Chief of the Naval Staff Vice Admiral G Ashok Kumar, and Director General Naval Operations, Vice Admiral Satish Ghormade, the release said.

The Chief of Naval Staff was accompanied by his wife Reena Lanba, President, Navy Wives Welfare Association (NWWA).
