A CISF official today restored a hand bag containing over Rs 95,000 to a lady who forgot it in a Delhi Metro station.

The incident happened around at 11am when CISF Sub-inspector Vashisht Narain noticed an unclaimed bag lying at the X-ray scanning machine at the Rohini Paschim metro station.

The official immediately segregated the bag for a second scanning and it was found that the bag contained a cash of total Rs 95,700 and some jewellery, a senior official said.

A woman, who owns a shop in a Mall in Rohini area, later came back to claim the bag from Metro authorities which was returned to her after due verification.

"She said she forgot the bag while getting frisked and thanked the security officials for their help," the official said.
