A 25-year-old civil engineer died after a mishap at an under construction building site at Bisrakh area here, police said today.
Anang Pal died after a stone fell on him accidentally and hit his head yesterday at Ajnara builder site in Bisrakh area where he was posted, they said.
The victim was rushed to a nearby nursing home where he was declared dead, police said.
A complaint has been filed by the relatives of the deceased against the construction company's managing director, vice-president, supervisor Anil Kumar and contractor Shah Alam for dereliction of duty.
The relatives alleged that the builder failed to provide the necessary safety measures at the site, police said.
Further probe into the matter is on, they added.
