Clariant Chem Q3 net profit at Rs 16.82 cr

Clariant Chemicals (India) Ltd today posted a net profit of Rs 16.82 crore during the third quarter of the 2017-18 fiscal on strong sales.

The Mumbai-based company had clocked a net loss Rs 8.6 crore in the year-ago period, the BSE filing said.

Net income increased to Rs 284.46 crore during October- December period of the 2017-18 fiscal from Rs 253.79 crore in the same period last year.

Expenses remained at Rs 258.94 crore as against Rs 255.50 crore in the said period, the filing added.
