Cong corporator sentenced to 4 years RI

Lokayukta judge N K Sudhindra Rao awarded the sentence to the corporator after convicting him for demanding and accepting a bribe of Rs 2 lakh from complainant Uday Kumar for allowing a construction of the fourth floor of a building.

Govindaraj was convicted under 13(1)(d) and 13(2) of the Prevention of Corruption Act.
