Press Trust of India Hyderabad
Telangana Congress MP V Hanumantha Rao today demanded action against External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj and Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje for allegedly helping former IPL chief Lalit Modi with travel documents and immigration plea.

The Congress leader along with party workers held a dharna in crowded Amberpet area here, demanding immediate dismissal of both the leaders.

He claimed that the previous UPA government did not spare anyone facing allegations of corruption.

The Rajya Sabha MP also accused the Naredra Modi-led government of backing Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu in the recent cash-for-vote scam.

Rao suggested that Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi should undertake a countrywide tour to "expose" the policies of the NDA government.
