Conman arrested for duping resort owner in Raj

A conman who allegedly committed frauds with tourists and hotels has been arrested from Uttarkhand by the local police.

The accused, Raja Pandey, was detained from a hotel in Uttarakhand and was brought here yesterday, Superintendent of Police Jaisalmer Rajiv Pachar said.

Pandey had allegedly committed an online fraud and duped a resort owner of Rs 4 lakh in Sam area of Jaisalmer earlier this year, Pachar said.

"He was working in a hotel there and is allegedly involved in some cases of fraud. The accused is being interrogated," the SP said.
