Contraband drugs seized in Chatra, 4 held

Heroin worth Rs eight lakh was seized and four persons were arrested in Chatra district, the police said today.

The contraband, weighing half-a-kg, was recovered allegedly from the possession of the arrested persons at Larkua More under Chatra police station last night, Superintendent of Police Anup Birtheray told the media here.

He said three of the arrested persons hailed from Uttar Pradesh while one was a resident of Chatra.
