Jammu and Kashmir unit of CPI(M) today condemned the killing of two policemen by militants in the heart of Srinagar city saying violence in any form is no solution to any problem and it only brings "untold miseries".
"Violence in any form and in any society should have no space, as it only brings in untold miseries. Violence is no solution to any problem," CPI(M) state secretary M Y Tarigami said in a statement here.
He visited the families of two slain Constables, who were killed by militants yesterday, to express solidarity with the bereaved families.

Tarigami said the killing of two policemen in "a ghastly manner", has left the dreams of another two Kashmiri families shattered.
"Kashmir has already paid a huge price during turmoil as thousands of lives were lost leaving behind a trail of tragedies," he said.
Tarigami also expressed concern over a "considerable increase" in targeted attacks on police.
