DA hiked for civic body staff in Puducherry

Puducherry Local Administration Minister A Namassivayam Thursday annouced a three per cent hike in dearness allowance for all staff in municipal bodies and commune panchayats in the Union Territory.

He said in a press release the hike would be effective retrospectively from January this year and the staff would now get 12 per cent of their basic pay as dearness allowance.
