Decomposed body of abducted trader found

The decomposed body of a trader was found today, eight days after he was kidnapped from his rented house at Naharlagun on August 28.

DGP Nithiyanadam said the police got a tip off and recovered the body of K C Chacko from a bamboo grove in Chiputa, about 25 km from Doimukh, in Papum Pare district.

Chacko's body, which was found with his hands, legs and mouth tied, was kept in the morgue of R K Mission Hospital here.

Three arrests have been made in this connection, he said.
