Deshmukh critical; Chavan, Pawar leave for Chennai

Chavan and Pawar left for Chennai soon after the state cabinet meeting here, sources said.

An official at the Global Hospitals, where 67-year-old Deshmukh is under treatment, today said the Congress leader is "still critical and continues to be under observation".

Meanwhile, people in Deshmukh's home town Latur today organised prayer meeting at the local Town Hall for their leader's speedy recovery.
