Edelweiss Financial Services Q2 net up 51 pc at Rs 144 cr

Edelweiss Financial Services today reported a 50.92 per cent jump in consolidated net profit at Rs 144.42 crore for the quarter ended September helped by higher income.

Its net profit in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal stood at Rs 95.69 crore.

Total income from operations increased to Rs 1,592.18 crore during the quarter under review, up 28.42 per cent, from Rs 1,239.77 crore in the same period a year ago, it said in a BSE filing.

Edelweiss Financial Services shares were trading 6.51 per cent lower at Rs 104.20 apiece on BSE in the morning trade.
