Eid-ul-Fitr celebrated in Gujarat

Marking the end of the holy month of Ramzan, people dressed in their festive best participated in a congregational prayer held at Jumma Masjid here and exchanged greetings.

Similar prayers were also held in Vadodara, Surat and Rajkot among other cities to mark the festive spirit.

Thousands of Muslims offered prayers at historic Jumma Masjid which had been built in 17th Century by Mughal emperor Shah Jahan.
