In a shocking incident, a man was allegedly set afire by his employer in a house at Sigheshwar Bazar in Bihar's Madhepura district, police said today.
The victim, identified as Kusheshar Yadav (50), was set on fire by his employer Rajesh Kumar, a trader, last night while he was sleeping, Superintendent of Police (SP) Saurabh Kumar Sah said.
Yadav was found dead with several burn injuries this morning. His legs were tied to a cot this morning, Sah said, adding the body has been sent for post-mortem.
The deceased was working for Kumar at his shop for the past ten years, he said.
Meanwhile, a case has been registered against the accused on the complaint of Yadav's kins, the SP added.
